Comments
At this time we do not allow comments on our website. However, should we decide to do so, we will proceed as follows. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
At this time we do not allow members to upload images on our website. However, should we decide to do so, we will proceed as follows. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We use a contact form to allow you to communicate with us. The information collected is used by us to reply back with regards to your questions or comments. None of the information is shared with anyone outside the Board or any other club member whose input is needed. We also collect your IP address and use it to see what areas people are from and to block potential spammers. If you do not wish your IP collected, please use standard email to contact us. We make every effort to protect your data. However, as we only collect names and email addresses from you in the Contact Us form, do not allow anyone to create an account and none of this data is stored on our website there is no information that can be obtained by a breach.
